You must prepare the jaggery syrup first. Once this is ready it is a very simple and fast recipe to make the delicious biyyam pindi boorelu just by mixing the flour. Let us get started on the step by step procedure of the simple and quick recipe of biyyam pindi boorelu.
1. Add one cup of water to a bowl
Take a bowl and add one cup of water. Keep it on the stove and maintain in the low flame. This will help to avoid burning the jaggery syrup.
2. Add one cup of jaggery and boil
Now you must add one cup of jaggery to the water in the bowl and bring to boil. As it boils it slowly melts the jaggery to become a syrup.
3. Add the cardamon powder and mix well
Cardamom powder really helps to spice any dish, It imparts an aromatic flavor to the sweet or savory dish. So add half teaspoon of cardamon powder to the jaggery syrup and mix well. Boil it for a minute which brings an aromatic flavor to the syrup.
4. Take a bowl and add one cup of rice flour
You must now take a big bowl and add one cup of rice flour. Not required to soak rice to make wet flour. You can use the instant dry rice flour.
5. Add one cup of wheat flour and
Now add one cup of wheat flour. This helps in binding the rice flour well in the jaggery syrup so that you can make small patties to fry them in oil. This is to prepare the rice, wheat, and jaggery dough.
6. Add half cup of rava or semolina
You must now add half cup of semolina and this will help in getting crispy crust on the boorelu.
7. Add salt to taste and mix well

8. Add the jaggery syrup and mix well
Now you must slowly add the jaggery syrup to the ingredients in the bowl and mix well to make a nice dough.
9. Prepare a soft dough to make small balls

10. Place a Kadai to fry on the stove
Now place a Kadai on the stove with medium heat.

You must add enough oil to deep fry the boorelu and maintain the medium heat. Please maintain the heat in the medium heat so that the boorelu is cooked well inside. Otherwise, it turns dark on the outside sooner while it doesn’t get cooked enough inside.
14. Take a polythene cover and apply oil
You must take a polythene cover spread it enough to make the patties. Apply oil on the paper. This will ensure that the patties don’t stick to the paper.
15. Make small balls with rice dough and flatten it on the polythene paper
You must now make small balls of the rice dough. Place it on the polythene paper and pat them gently to make them round patties.
16. Now take the flattened dough and slowly drop it in the oil

1. Quantity of ingredients
You must mix equal quantities of rice flour, wheat flour, and half quantity of rava to get the right consistency of the rice dough.
2. Consistency of the Jaggery Syrup
You don’t need to make the jaggery syrup in a particular consistency. As long as the jaggery melts in the water and boiled well it would be sufficient.
3. Heat the oil to the right temperature
You must add enough oil to deep fry the boorelu and maintain the medium heat. Please maintain the heat in the medium heat so that the boorelu is cooked well inside. Otherwise, it turns dark on the outside sooner while it doesn’t get cooked enough inside.
